大学英语作文 篇1

nowadays it is a very common phenomenon for some university students to be late for or even be absent from their classes. and still there are some students who slip out of the classroom before the class is over. class attendance has become a thorny problem to both the students and the teachers.

in fact, it is very important for the students to attend their classes regularly. first, it will ensure you to catch up with the teachers in your learning. that is very helpful to you if you want to do a good job in your study. second, attending classes regularly is a way of showing respect to your teachers, too. your teachers will feel bad if the students do not attend their classes, which, in return, will affect their teaching and be no good for both the students. third, attending classes regularly will help to form a good habit of punctuality, which is of great importance for the students to do a good job in the future.

therefore, we university students should form the good habit of attending our classes regularly from now on. and some day we will benefit from it.

大学英语作文 篇2

When asked about do you like live with roommates, the overwhelming majority of most students answer that they quite willing to live in the dormitory. But fewer people hold that they can not bear the hostel environment and it seems that the number is increasing.

There are mainly three reasons responsible for this phenomenon. In the first place,as most students never stay away from parents , so they was not accustomed to live in the dormitory and they will try to move out and to get more private place. What’s more, the living conditions are generally not so good ,there are no modern equipments, and students have to obey many regulations when living in the dormitory. At length, the roomates all are come from the different place, living habits are quite different.

From my point of view,it would be better for college students to live in the dormitory .On the one hand,it is good for college students to communicate with each other, which is will help to develop social and professional skills. On the other hand, living in the outside is more expensive than in the dormitory. We can use the money saved from renting a house to do something meaningful.

关于写竞争的英语作文【3】

competition is a common phenomenon in our social life. we compete when we play games and when we try to do better than others in our study. there is constant competition for academic degrees, jobs, customers, money and so forth. in a sense, competition is one of the motive force to the development of society.

in the natural world, the weak will be replaced by the strong and the fittest can live; therefore, the only way to survive(活下来) is to be competitive. growing in a competitive environment is important for a child because future adult life is difficult. finding a good job, for example, is an extremely competitive activity. today, most people obtain knowledge through various ways and a large number of people get good education. there are also many people who have higher degrees in their special fields. the quality of people is rapidly increasing. competition is more violent(激烈的) that what we thought it should be. the potentially(潜在地) successful job applicant(申请人) has to be prepared in a stronger position by gaining more qualification(资格) and experience. in the sports contests(竞争), the strongest will come out as winners. they become our heroes and they are glorified(赞美). in the business world, to beat your competitors, you must be better than the other employees. otherwise you will be defeated(击败).

关于写竞争的英语作文【4】

CompetitionAs we all know, competition is a common phenomenon in our social life. There is constant competition for academic degrees, jobs, customers, money and so forth. In a sense, Competition makes people original and creative. It very necessary to compete if human society wants to advance.

Competition can stimulate people to try their best to do anything. For example, in 100-meter race, each sportsman runs as quickly as possible, trying to win the

champion. The same things happen in our society and in our daily life. If a company wants to surpass others, it must compete with them. It must raise its efficiency. All the companies doing this will no doubt benefit the whole society and the whole human race. Without competition,it is hard to imagine what will offer our world with so much energy to move forward

Being a student, I must compete with other students in our studies. I must study hard in all the fields so that I can be a useful man when I enter the society after graduation.

关于写竞争的.英语作文【5】

Both competition and cooperation play a large role in the advancement of society, both in business and non-business areas. Competition forces people to improve their products or services, and hence benefits the recipients of these products or services. Cooperation, however, plays an even more important role in development of individuals and the society as a whole, because it drastically increases the scale of these

improvements. Working in groups and teams far increases the productivity of individuals. Thus, I firmly believe children should be taught to cooperate rather than to compete.

First of all, cooperation is an important skill in the future life of all children. They will need to live with other people throughout their life, since they will not study alone, work alone, nor spend their leisure time alone. If they do not know how to cooperate with their classmates, their colleagues, and other family members, then they will lose the chance to live happily. Thus, cooperation skills should be taught before they grow up to face serious problems living with others.

Furthermore, cooperation is a significant contributing factor to the development of society. While competition generally ends in a win-lose result, cooperation advocates that one plus one is larger than two, three or even a larger number. For example, the competition of two business firms would ultimately lead to the result that one becomes stronger and the other fails and goes out of business. However, if they cooperate with each other successfully, they may group together to form an enterprise larger than the mere sum of the two. The more successful cooperation there is, the better the society develops. Thus, cooperation should be taught to children, because eventually they will be the executives of important corporations.

Admittedly, competition also plays a significant role in many areas. Stressed by the competition, individuals and organizations have to struggle to survive, and so they are forced to make improvements and develop.

However, in comparison, cooperation is more effective in helping individuals and societies to develop, because it benefits not only individuals, but also society as a whole. The reality is that children should be taught both, but if forced to choose only one, parents should undoubtedly teach their kids to cooperate rather than to compete.

参考范文:

Nowadays, TV PK Shows (or we can call it Talent Shows) are great hit in China and have attracted many young people. As for me, TV PK Shows, as all other things, have both positive and negative effects. Therefore, the most crucial thing is how we see them.

Some people think Talent Shows provide grass-root people with a stage to display their talents, so they should seize every opportunity to show off their talents. Some College students even give up their studies to attend these TV PK Shows in the hope of becoming famous overnight. They even regard TV PK shows as a shortcut to the success. While other people reckon that TV PK Shows will develop the undergraduates’ attitude of anxious of achieving quick success. And once they were failed in these shows, they would suffer a great psychological unbalance. This is really bad to their physical and psychological health.

To sum up, everything has its limit. As long as the right attitude is employed, then it is OK.

大学英语作文 篇7

话题:

当今,越来越多的大学毕业生抱怨说,毕业并不等于就业。他们的经验极大的困难找到满意的就业机会。你觉得这是一件靠谱的事情?

参考例文一:

Want to be a small fish in a big pond or the other way round? Every graduate faces this question when starting his career. A large number of college graduates prefer to stay in big cities, which mean more experiences, more opportunities to see the big world and more space for career development. At the same time, higher salary is another temptation。

But some other graduates intend to start in small towns. Even though there may not be many big companies, they can have a quieter and less competitive life. Another reason is that they can be a big fish in a small pond. They can easily get the management’s attention and may win promotion earlier。

As far as I am concerned, I prefer to start in a metropolis like Shanghai. A good begin is half the battle, and in Shanghai I can find a job in a big company where I can meet people from different places and cultures. I will learn from them what I can not get from textbooks.

参考例文二:

Nowadays, more and more university graduates complain that graduation does not equate to employment. They experience great difficulties finding satisfactory jobs. What is the cause of this phenomenon

In my opinion, there are four causes:

First, graduates lack experience. They spend most of their time at school studying academic subjects and lack relevant job training. Only after graduation do they realize it’s hard to find jobs.

Second, competition among graduates grows more bitter and more bitter and bitter. The supply of university graduates exceeds social demand. This results in a decreased chance for any individual graduate to find a job.

Third, some students don’t study hard. Some of them skip classes just because they have no interest in certain subjects. Some play computer games or pursue other interests. Some sleep in class or in the library. Then they leave the sheltered environment of the university campus, to discover they don’t have adequate knowledge to apply for many positions, which makes them feel lost and frustrated.

Finally, some graduates are conceited. They lack experience but ask for a high salary, which is impractical.

So, university students should try their best to change this situation. When they are in school, they should make the most of their time and put their heart into their studies. They can hold part-time jobs in their spare time to accumulate relevant work experience. They should take part in some social activities and provide themselves with special training, if possible. When they graduate and apply for jobs, they should attach more importance to accumulating experience than to their starting salary.

On University Students’ Pressure in Finding Jobs

About a decade ago, university students could find satisfactory and enviable jobs after their graduation. But now, things are different. Today's university students usually have much pressure in finding fairly good jobs. They always say disappointedly that graduation means joblessness. Why nowadays university students have so much pressure in finding jobs?

In my opinion, this kind of pressure is mainly caused by three reasons. Firstly, the government is enrolling more and more university students year by year. And the growth of the students' number has surpassed that of the need of the society. So, when so many students graduate at a time, the chance of finding jobs becomes tiny. Secondly, today's university students, most of them are the "only-child", who are more mentally frail. Since they are indulged greatly at home and haven't been trained to do things on their own, once it is their turn to go out of the campus and find jobs by themselves and decide what kind of jobs to choose, they feel bewildered and don't know what to do. If their first try fails, they will be frustrated and think that it is really hard to find jobs. Thirdly, some university students are not qualified for good and challenging jobs. After entering the university, they don't study as hard as they did in high schools. They begin to sleep during the class or even be absent for classes. Some are addicted to computer games or Jin Yong's novels, or step into the two-person-world too early. Because these things have taken up so much of their time and energy, their study is neglected. After four years of university life, they haven't gained the knowledge those fairly good jobs or certain positions require.

大学英语作文 篇8

recently, one of the hottest topic arousing general concern is whether college students should deal in stocks.

it is widely accepted that practice with study can bring some positive effects for a student.

however ,others argue that dealing in stocks isnt suitable for college students. but according to me , i firmly hold that its negative effects overweight its benefits for the following reasons.

first, college students have limited spare time and stocks dealing cost their energy and time. by taking health and lacking in related knowldge into account, it is suggested that students should leave stock market.

second, dealing in stocks means bearing great economic risks.if they lose much money in the stocks market, perhaps they cannot adjust their mind and afford the loss hence incurred.it may be deal to serious results.

the last, college students dealing in stocks is likely to make problems for their parents.

from what has been discussed above, we may reasonably come to the conclusion that college students should not deal in stocks.

大学英语作文 篇9

more and more college students, in recent years, are finding it difficult to find jobs. this may sound strange since college students used to be the "most favored" people in society. they have received a higher education, hence they are more intelligent, knowledgeable than their counterparts who failed to attend college. but chances are that some of them can hardly find jobs after graduating from colleges.

there are two reasons that account for this strange phenomenon. one is that some college students cannot come to terms with themselves and with the world around them. they pursue too high goals and are too particular about such factors as working conditions, salary, and so on. therefore, they are reluctant to accept the job when they are offered to them. another reason is that the majors some students pursue do not match with the demands of the job market. as a result, they canonly sit and miss opportunities.to solve this problem, i think college students should know their own strengths and weaknesses and have the right attitude towards themselves and the job vacancies. in addition, they should not attach too much importance to material aspects of the job. they

should put priority to their future development and their contributions to society in stead. furthermore, they should think of receiving some further training to meet the demands of society.

英语四级写作范文:

Online Games

As a product of modern computer and theInternet, online games have become very popular among college students. A great manystudents have enjoyed great pleasure and satisfaction from these games. But as we see, some students lacking self-discipline are too much indulged in these games so that their healthand academic performances are affected. This phenomenon has caused much worry fromthe teachers and parents.

However, some others argue that online games are not always harmful. They can train theability of youngsters to respond to things quickly. Moreover, they can stimulate theirimagination and their interest in computer science. More importantly, it does bring collegestudents much pleasure and release their pressure greatly.

From my point of view, online games are a wonderful entertainment if you play them in areasonable way. When they interfere too much with your study, it is better for you to givethem up at once. Yet if you have enough self-control over them, you can certainly obtain realpleasure and benefit a lot from them.
